An overnight fire at a tip in Hobart's north is being treated as suspicious, Tasmania Police say.
The blaze at the Jackson Street Landfill and Recycling Centre, in Glenorchy , began on Friday night, with fire crews attending overnight.
Police said mattresses were set alight, with the fire then spreading to other waste.

As of 8.30am on Saturday, the fire had been brought under control.
The site is also home to Australia's first tip shop, which has operated since 1993.
