King appoints Morocco’s first female prime minister

Morocco’s King Mohammed VI has named Marrakesh’s long-time mayor as the country’s first female prime minister after her party won last week’s parliamentary election. Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, 50, becomes the second woman in the Arab world to lead a government.
