In Cameroon, the start of the academic year for Universities, scheduled for October 5, may not take place. This is as a result of an indefinite strike launched by SYNES, the National Union of Higher Education Teachers. Teachers are demanding the payment of 16 billion CFA francs in academic bonuses, equivalent to nearly 24 million euros.
