Dairy farm flooded, but grain growers rejoice as Victoria settles in for wet weekend

Heavy rain and thunderstorms have swept across Victoria, prompting six flood rescues.
Farmers in some grain-growing regions are welcoming the spring rain as the perfect set up for the season.
Further rain and thunderstorms are expected tomorrow, with severe weather and heavy rainfall possible in Gippsland and the north east of the state.
Soaking rain continues to fall across parts of Victoria, after storms caused tree falls, power outages, building damage and six rescues.
State Emergency Service (SES) state duty officer Shane McBride said crews had received 200 calls for help since midday yesterday.
"But the number that's really scary at the moment is six flood rescues we've had," he said.
VICSES said it would improve its payroll processes to avoid future problems. ( ABC News: Kathy Lord )
